Snapp is a screenshot tool built to help you capture, edit, and share screenshots. We designed it to respect your privacy. Snapp does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.
What data is stored
Snapp stores your screenshots and settings locally on your device using the browser's storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it. Examples include:
- Captured screenshots and edited images
- Screenshot history (stored locally)
- Extension preferences and settings
- Export format preferences
Permissions we request and why
- storage: Save your screenshots and preferences locally
- tabs and activeTab: Capture the current page as a screenshot
- downloads: Save exported images to your device
- host permissions: Required for full-page capture functionality
These permissions are used solely to provide core screenshot functionality. Snapp does not send your screenshots or data to external servers.
Premium accounts
If you purchase Snapp Premium, we store your email address and purchase information to verify your subscription status. This data is processed securely and is not shared with third parties for marketing.
Third-party services
Snapp does not use third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels. There are no external servers receiving your screenshots or data.

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes occur.
